Moderation & reports
1. Purpose
TellJar hosts user-submitted content, so it uses moderation and reporting mechanisms for safety and unlawful or rule-breaking material.
2. How to report
Use the “Report” button on a note. Normal rule violations may be reported anonymously. If you believe content is illegal, choose “Legal notice”; the form records the exact note identifier, your explanation, a contact email and a good-faith statement. A separate contact channel is support@telljar.online.
3. What to report
Illegal content, threats, doxxing, harassment, child sexual exploitation content, fraud, impersonation, encouragement of violence, spam and other violations of the Terms.
4. Process
New notes are pending and are not publicly drawn until approved. A supportive community reply also enters a separate moderation queue and is not delivered before approval. TellJar does not provide uncontrolled direct messages between random users. Some obvious threats or messages encouraging self-harm may be rejected automatically, but automated filters do not replace human moderation. A reported note can be hidden and its pending replies rejected. Abusive accounts can be blocked.
5. Private creator contact
“Message TellJar” is a private account-linked channel to the project creator. It is not therapy or crisis care and has no guaranteed response time.
6. Moderation decisions
Where required, affected users should receive appropriate information about moderation decisions and available ways to challenge them.
7. Contact point
Moderation and legal contact: support@telljar.online.
